Shona Miko Musgrave has been following the call of her imagery in photography and filmmaking for over thirty years as a director, producer, writer and post production producer. Miko Musgrave’ s films are a celebration of the singularity and connectedness of human experience, freethinking, visually dynamic, expressive and graceful. Her work can also be disquieting, even shocking. Miko Musgrave’s body of films and photographs has encompassed a wide spectrum of international photography exhibitions, publications and international documentary and dramatic film productions. She has won many globally recognized awards and her films Where Angels Dare, Stolen Lives, Children in the Sex Trade, Close to the Heart, Life is the Land, Toxic-Free World, The Long Distance to name a few, have been broadcast on networks throughout the world.
As a Producer, and Post Production Supervisor, Miko Musgrave has worked on such shows Sanctuary, Life as We Know it, Journey to the Center of the Earth, My Name is Sarah, What Goes up, Unthinkable, Christmas on Chestnut Street, Amber’s Story, as well as, produced and directed a variety of 35mm/16mm music videos, commercials and behind-the-scenes documentaries for various international clients such as Nettwerk, Levi’s International, Paramount Television, Mutual-Life Insurance, First City Financial, Alberta Transportation, Paramount Television, Tri-star Pictures, NBC’s Entertainment Tonight and ACCESS Hollywood, ABC’s Good Morning America, King World’s, Inside Edition, MTV, Much Music, Movie Television, DSF German Sports Television, ESPN Sports Network, The Discovery Channel (U.S. and Canada), CBC Television, CTV Television and the National Film Board of Canada.
