In a time when we’re asking everyone to stay home as much as possible, we also need to ensure that people continue to have homes to stay in. Yesterday, Premier John Horgan announced an immediate halt on all residential rental evictions, a freeze on rental rates, and a new rental supplement that will ensure landlords receive some rental income even if their tenants cannot make the rent. https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2020MAH0048-000561
